There's been so much discussion around books since my last blog post.
Thank you to everyone who gave me some suggestions (or handed me a book to read!) We have such a great community at Wellspring Pilates. I've requested some of the books you all suggested from Ashgrove library. I look forward to discussing them in our sessions coming up!
Here are some more of my favourites in time for the holidays.

Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng
I read this book a long time ago - before the tv show came out with Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington. It is an emotive story - motherhood, families, relationships, trust. Different views and values. I had a lot of emotions reading this book! It's way better than the TV show (isn't is usually) so even if you've seen it already, it's definitely worth your time to read the book.
We were never here by Andrea Bartz
A thought-provoking story involving two best friends on a backpacking holiday with disastrous consequences. Makes me glad I never got into backpacking! A nail-biting thriller, I loved reading this book cover to cover even though I held my breath at times.
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
This is a recent read and I could not put it down! I read way into the night with this one. What does true love mean? An interesting tale of an actress and her seven husbands. Some unexpected twists, this book is perfect for reading on the beach for hours on end (under a cool cabana of course!)
The Club by Ellery Lloyd
Everyone wants their name on this list to get into "The Club". But all is not as it seems. I won't give much away for this one - just take my word on it that it's worth the read.
The Castaways by Lucy Clarke
Not a book I'd recommend if you are flying on a small plane to Fiji. **not a spoiler alert - it's the actual plot** Two sisters are going on the holiday of a lifetime. One sister doesn't make the plane but the other sister got on, the planes goes down and was never seen from again. Until two years later, the pilot turns up alive. What happened to the passengers? A gripping tale - a little bit "Castaway" with Tom Hanks vibes but from the perspective of two sisters. Have a read and tell me what you think! I own this book so my studio clients are welcome to borrow anytime.
Tell me some other books you suggest! I'd love to hear what you are reading.
Till next time Wellspringers,
Holly
